I took the wrong train and ended up in Glesch.

Some days you think you’re getting the hang of things. Then you catch a train, end up in some weird town where teens hang out by the train tracks because it’s the only thing to do, old women walk dogs at dusk, and you have to wait 45 minutes for the next train back to the nearest city.

I think this is a recurring pattern in life.

  1. You look so lonely – I wish I was there!!

  2. Oh my… what to do with you? The safe thing would be to chain you to your desk and then you could work another 48 hours on the weekend and not get lost. But then again… maybe Glesch isn´t so bad after all. By the way, where the $%&% is Glesch. I´ve lived in Germany for 12 years and never heard of it.

PS Don´t worry Mom, we will provide him with smiles and companionship over the details and coffee Monday morning.

  3. With that lantern on your head you look like one of these weird deep-sea fish.
